Meet Hayley, a tax preparer at PHB. Hayley joined the firm in January of 2020 as an administrative assistant soon after she and her family relocated to Tennessee from Tucson, Arizona. In her role as an admin assistant, Hayley answered phones, processed tax returns, helped with firm IT changes and oversaw many special projects. The admin role allowed Hayley to work with all of the departments, and gave her an inside look to the various roles in the firm. As her time at PHB lengthened, she discovered she was drawn to the tax side of the business. Given that she’s a quick learner and extremely organized, it made sense for Hayley to dig deeper into a role in tax. After a training period filled with one-on-one training, webinars, continuing professional education and lots of practice, Hayley proved herself in this area and was added to the tax team as a preparer. We are thrilled to see her grow professionally with us!

Hayley is also a professional baker, she spoils the staff with incredibly tasty and beautiful pastries and treats! She and her husband, James have two sons, Joel (11) and Ezra (10) and their sweet rescue pup, Chick Pea. Since moving to Tennessee, Hayley and her crew have truly enjoyed exploring the lush beauty of this part of the country, as it is vastly different from the desert they were used to.
