PHB Employee Spotlight

Meet Christy Cox, PHB’s Bookkeeping Department Manager. Christy joined the PHB team 7 years ago as part of an acquisition. Before coming to PHB she had been with her prior firm for 16 1/2 years. Christy and her husband Bobby have been married for 23 years and have two daughters and and two dogs. When she’s not helping clients with their books, she enjoys reading personal development books, working out and spending time with her family.

What have you gained from working at PHB?

There has been such great opportunity to grow in my position and I have really been able to build on my experience and expand and knowledge to further help clients.

What is the favorite part about working at PHB? The work environment and work/life balance allow me to love going to work every day!

What is your biggest pet peeve? It drives me crazy to hear someone chewing their food really loud.

Do you have a favorite quote? Nothing is impossible, the word itself says “I’m possible” – Audrey Hepburn

If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring? I would bring clothes(only what was needed-hopefully it is a warm place), books, and essentials to survive.  Absolutely no electronics!

Where would you like to go on a dream vacation? I would love to travel to Cancun, Mexico, Hawaii, or somewhere tropical & warm. A 10-day cruise would be great.
